The Minipresso, Nanopresso, and Picopresso are all manual espresso makers, requiring you to hand-pump to generate pressure. The Pixapresso is electric and rechargeable, automating the pressure generation process. Also, The Pixapresso has a built-in heating element, allowing it to heat the water for brewing. The other models require you to use pre-heated water from an external source.

Some manufacturers advertise battery capacity by adding up the capacities of each individual cell inside the battery pack. For example, if a pack contains 3 cells of 3000 mAh, they may claim 9000 mAh. However, this is technically incorrect for devices like portable espresso machines. In order to power the pump and heating system, the cells are connected in series (3S configuration), which increases voltage but does not increase the capacity. In a series configuration, the total usable capacity remains that of a single cell — in this case, 3000 mAh.

Importantly, this does not affect performance. Our 3000 mAh (3S) pack delivers exactly the same total energy and runtime as what some others might advertise as “9000 mAh” — because the total energy is a combination of both voltage and capacity. While some brands continue to use this misleading calculation, we have updated all our communication, packaging, and specifications to reflect the true, technically accurate battery capacity.

The Pixapresso comes with a 12-month warranty covering any manufacturing defects from the date of purchase. Please note that this warranty does not extend to issues caused by normal wear and tear. The battery, as a consumable component, will naturally experience performance degradation over time with regular use. Reduced capacity after many charge cycles is considered normal and is not covered under the warranty. However, rest assured that the Pixapresso is built with high-quality materials to ensure long-lasting performance. If your Pixapresso experiences any other problems during this time, we promise to replace it with a new device or resolve the issue as part of our warranty commitment.
If the product exceeds the 12-month warranty period, free replacement or repair services will no longer apply. However, the Pixapresso is designed with sustainability in mind. The batteries are replaceable, allowing you to extend the life of your device. Should your battery reach the end of its charge cycles, we encourage you to purchase a new battery instead of disposing of the entire machine.
